A REASON TO LEARN is a project designed to reduce the level of illiteracy and poverty in oyo community in Oyo State, Nigeria. With the impact we've made soo far with this project, we are sure that students in this community will embrace education now as their only hope out of poverty and illiteracy. Presently,5 children has benefited from this project but we intend to meet the needs of more children in our community.

This project was backed up with an approval letter from the Secretary of the Universal Basic Education Board in Atiba Local Government, Oyo State. We were also advised by the local government to embark on this project in some schools that they believe will improve the learning urge of the people.
St. Mary Primary schools, St. Micheal Primary School, L.A Primary school, Ads primary school and St. Andrews primary schools were beneficiaries of this project. In all, we distributed writing materials to over 4,169 students and spoke to their primary 5 and 6 students on the importance of education and why they need to further their education inorder for them to become better people in our society.

Presently, we are seeking sponsors that will enable us meet the needs of more people in Oyo community. Although, we do not intend to only focus on Oyo, we also wish to spread across several parts of the country but this can only be done with adequate funds.

YOU THINK is a Business/Talent Hunt show put together by Sife Nigeria and Sife Ajayi Crowther University with partnership with GTBank. This show is geared at promoting the various talents / business ideas of students Around the country giving them a platform to make such talent or Business idea create wealth for them.
This show is created to give undergraduates the opportunity to make use of their God given talents to create a source of income for them. This show will take place on 17th November, 2010 at Ajayi Crowther University Auditorium.

The winner of this Business/Talent hunt show will receive a cash reward of 50,000 naira and will also be opportuned to work with the sife acu team for a period of One year inorder to develop a comprehensive business plan on how to create or make income from the talent. This talent could be in form of Business idea or any other talent so far its marketable in todays economy.

Contestants for the show could either be individuals or group but the contestants must provide a comprehensive layout / idea on how they intend to make income from their business idea or talent. This will make the judges see how serious such contestant is.

Green Art  is set out to kick start a campaign for the promotion of Nigerian Art and Craft. with sife acu spear heading this project, we're using this medium to promote the importance of art thereby improving the lives of talented artiste by showcasing their works to art lovers around the world. We notice the death of Nigerian art and the fact that is is not being promoted. We also recognise the efforts of talented artiste who work day and night to design artifacts that is worth much more out there but are not being seen.

SAID (SELL AN IDEA) There are business potentials in Ajayi Crowther University and in celebration of the GEW (Global Entrepreneurship Week) sife Ajayi Crowther University would like to encourage its students to embrace Entrepreneruship. We would like to motivate students to make them understand the importance and the usefullness of entrepreneruship. We believe that if undergraduates go into entrepreneurship, more jobs would be created, more lives and families would be sustained and also crime woukld reduce in our society.
